Kemal Uçar — Biography

Kemal Uçar was born on 29 March 1985 in Adana. He graduated from the Department of American Language and Literature at Ankara University and later earned a master's degree at Bahçeşehir University. He is an actor with a theatre background and also works as a playwright and screenwriter.

He made his television debut in 1998 with the series Aynalı Tahir; after Benim İçin Ağlama, Bizim Evin Halleri, Hırsız Polis and Arka Sokaklar, he became known with the series Sınıf and Ezel. In 2010 he played Yücel in the film Çakallarla Dans, and in 2011 he took the lead role in the series Yamak Ahmet; in 2015 he portrayed the character Bahadır in the film Tut Sözünü. In the following years he appeared in the series Payitaht Abdülhamid and Bir Zamanlar Kıbrıs.

He also wrote and directed the theatre play 'Dublörün Hikâyesi', in which he performed as an actor. As of 2026 he is the host of Lingo Türkiye.
