The Affairs of Our House (Bizim Evin Halleri) (translated)
Bizim Evin Halleri is a Turkish family series produced by Focus Film and directed by Tülay Eratalay and Cafer Özgül. It premiered on TRT 1 on 14 February 2000, completed its first seven seasons (1,218 episodes) on 30 June 2006, then moved to Kanal 1 for two more seasons (412 episodes), before its tenth and final season aired on atv in 2008, ending with a total of 1,705 episodes. The cast includes Ayşenil Şamlıoğlu, Hakan Salınmış, Levent Ülgen, Serhat Kılıç, Hülya Gülşen Irmak, Okan Şenozan and Mert Fırat.
Exploring love, friendship and solidarity in a tone that appeals to viewers of all ages, the series began as a family comedy on TRT 1 but evolved into a drama with more intrigue, separations and loss during its Kanal 1 years. With 1,705 episodes, it holds the record for the most episodes ever broadcast by a Turkish series, and for the most seasons of any daily series.
