Tolga Tekin — Biography
Tolga Tekin was born on March 19, 1973, in Ankara. After graduating from the Theatre Department of the Hacettepe University State Conservatory in 1996, he passed the Turkish State Theatres exam and worked first at the Adana State Theatre and later at the Ankara State Theatre.
He began his screen career in 2008 with the series Bizim Evin Halleri and went on to appear in numerous productions, including Behzat Ç., Muhteşem Yüzyıl, Reis, Zenne, Kardelen, Kapalıçarşı, Deniz Yıldızı and Paramparça, reaching an international audience in 2020 through the Netflix series Rise of Empires: Ottoman and 50M2.
He continued his career with Taçsız Prenses and the Kanal D series Eşref Rüya, in which his portrayal of Müslüm Çermik drew wide attention before he announced his departure from the show in May 2026.
