Erkan Avcı — Biography

Born on December 17, 1982, in Diyarbakır, Erkan Avcı graduated from Mimar Sinan University's Department of Theatre and Acting. He made his screen debut in 2006 with the series Köprü, then appeared in Ayrılık, Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu, Acemi Müezzin and Sakarya Fırat. His performance as Ahmet in the 2011 film Zenne brought him a Best Supporting Actor prize from the 48th edition of the Altın Portakal Film Festival, and that same year he appeared in Gişe Memuru. After entering film with Can in 2012, he played Selami in Uzun Hikaye.

He broke through playing Barut Necdet on the 2012 series Karadayı, then played Korhan Korludağ in Cesur ve Güzel and joined the cast of Payitaht Abdülhamid. He became widely recognized for the roles of Aya Nikola in Kuruluş Osman and Çeto in Çukur, and went on to play Bahtiyar in Müslüm (2018) and Zafer Günaltay in Şampiyon (2019). After taking the role of Sadi Hüdayi Güneş in Kızıl Goncalar (2023), he has played Asil in Kızılcık Şerbeti since 2025.
