Sezin Akbaşoğulları — Biography
Sezin Akbaşoğulları (born April 22, 1981, in İzmir) is a Turkish theatre, film and television actress. She first took the stage during her high school years and graduated from the Theatre Department of Bilkent University. She made her television debut as Ceren Aslanbaş in Beyaz Gelincik (2005) and shared the Best Actress award with Nergis Öztürk at the 17th Altın Koza Film Festival for her performance in Kavşak.
She has appeared in series such as Behzat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi (2012), Cesur ve Güzel (2016, as Cahide), Uyanış: Büyük Selçuklu (2020) and Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi (2023), as well as in the films O... Çocukları (2008), Yabancı (2012) and Fakat Müzeyyen Bu Derin Bir Tutku (2014). After appearing in Aşkı Hatırla in 2025, she joined the series Kıskanmak in 2026 as Defne, and press reports the same year said she had signed on for three new projects.
