Çağdaş Onur Öztürk — Biography

Çağdaş Onur Öztürk was born on 16 August 1979 in Sivas. After graduating from the Landscape Architecture Department of Ege University, he turned to acting and trained in the Performing Arts Department of the Anadolu University State Conservatory.

He began his screen career in 2008 with the series Gazi and Doğruluk Ekseni, and became known with Sakarya Fırat (2009) and Kuzey Güney (2011). He appeared in the series Böyle Bitmesin, Düşler ve Umutlar, Aşktan Kaçılmaz and Kendime İyi Bak, and acted in the 2014 film Tut Sözünü. He reached a wide audience as Vasilyus in Diriliş Ertuğrul. In 2016 he appeared in Kış Güneşi and in 2018 in Avlu.

In 2021 he played Yusuf in the series Fatma, and in 2022 Taner in Sevmek Zamanı and Yusuf Çetin in Sipahi. He appeared in Prens in 2023 and in Asaf in 2024. Since May 2026 he has been playing the character Serhat in the series Daha 17, which began on Kanal D.
