Fatma

Fatma is a Turkish psychological crime and thriller miniseries written by Özgür Önürme and co-directed by Özer Feyzioğlu and Önürme, produced by Idea Film Creatives for Netflix. Set and filmed in Istanbul, the single season of six episodes was released worldwide on Netflix on April 27, 2021.

The story follows Fatma, an unassuming house cleaner who, while searching for her husband Zafer after he vanishes shortly after leaving prison, becomes entangled in murder and the criminal underworld. Forced to survive and confront old wounds, this seemingly ordinary woman embarks on an unexpectedly dark path. The series stars Burcu Biricik, Uğur Yücel, Mehmet Yılmaz Ak, and Hazal Türesan. Upon its release, it climbed to the top of Netflix Turkey's most-watched list.
