Cemal Toktaş — Biography

Cemal Toktaş was born on 14 January 1983 in Istanbul. A graduate of the Istanbul University State Conservatory, he began his career in 2003 with the television film Evlat.

In 2004 he appeared in the series 24 Saat and Şeytan Ayrıntıda Gizlidir, and went on to act in productions such as Sıla and Doktorlar. In 2009 he played Selim in the film Kara Köpekler Havlarken and Kadri in Güneşi Gördüm, directed by Mahsun Kırmızıgül; his performance in Güneşi Gördüm earned him the Best Supporting Actor award at the Sadri Alışık Awards.

In the following years he appeared in Tövbeler Tövbesi, Böyle Bitmesin, Yılanların Öcü, Köpek, Bizim Hikaye, Meryem, Vurgun, Uyanış: Büyük Selçuklu, Yalancı and Son Gün. In 2026 he portrayed the character Mustafa in the series Vicdansız. He is married to actress Nergis Öztürk.
