Buğra Gülsoy — Biography

Behiç Buğra Gülsoy was born on 22 February 1982 in Ankara, to a father from Niğde and a mother from Erzincan. He had his first stage experience at thirteen, graduated in architecture from Eastern Mediterranean University in 2004, and later earned a master's in advanced acting at Bahçeşehir University. During his years in Cyprus he performed with the Cyprus State Theatre, made short films and helped found the Cyprus Film Association; after co-founding Tiyatro Kutu with friends, he continued in film and theatre through GET Yapım, and has also published novels.

He drew attention in 2009 with Unutulmaz, then became widely known as Vural in Kanal D's Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne?; in 2011 he shared the lead of Kuzey Güney with Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ. Following Eski Hikaye (2013), Aşk Yeniden (2015), Cebimdeki Yabancı (2018) and Kızım, he played Sultan Melikşah in Uyanış: Büyük Selçuklu (2020), Tolga in Dünyayla Benim Aramda (2022), and Evren Yalkın across the three seasons of Bahar (2024-2025). He was married to Nilüfer Gürbüz from 2018 to 2023; the couple have a son, Cem. In 2026 he joined the cast of Düğünümüz Var before moving to Star TV's Tuzlu Kahve.
