Leyla Lydia Tuğutlu — Biography
Leyla Lydia Tuğutlu was born on 29 October 1989 in Berlin, and is a Turkish-German actress, model and singer. While studying in the Department of German Language and Literature at İstanbul University she began a modelling career, being named "Princess" at the 2006 Miss Tourism Queen International pageant in China and going on to win Miss Turkey in 2008, representing the country at Miss World the same year.
She launched her acting career with the series Es-Es and went on to appear in Kirli Beyaz, Günce, Karadayı, İçimdeki Ses and Kiralık Aşk, gaining wider recognition in cinema when she shared the lead with Çağatay Ulusoy in the 2015 film Delibal. She continued her career with further series and films including Tatlı İntikam, Bu Şehir Arkandan Gelecek, Kızım and Cebimdeki Yabancı.
After becoming a mother she stepped back from public life for a period, before turning to a music career alongside her husband Ceyhun Ergün in 2026, a phase she has described as the most productive of her career.
