Mehmet Ali Nuroğlu — Biography

Mehmet Ali Nuroğlu was born on September 7, 1979 in Istanbul. As the son of a civil servant, he spent his childhood in cities such as Patnos, Cyprus, Tekirdağ and Ankara. After studying philosophy for three years at the Middle East Technical University, he transferred to the Theatre Department of Hacettepe University; during his student years he worked at the State Theatres and served as Semih Sergen's assistant. He took his first television role in the series Yuvadan Bir Kuş Uçtu and made his major breakthrough with the character Mehmet in the series Çemberimde Gül Oya. He appeared in films such as Kış Uykusu, Kusursuzlar and Bizim Büyük Çaresizliğimiz, and became widely known for the character Vedat, whom he portrayed in the series Sen Anlat Karadeniz. In 2019 he played Kenan Cibranoğlu in the series Güvercin, and in 2025 he joined the cast of Kuruluş Orhan.
