Tell Me About the Black Sea (Sen Anlat Karadeniz) (translated)

Sen Anlat Karadeniz (Tell Me About the Black Sea) is a Turkish drama series that premiered on ATV on January 24, 2018. Produced by Osman Sınav, the series ran for three seasons and concluded with its 64th episode on November 13, 2019. The script was written by Nehir Erdem, Ayşe Ferda Eryılmaz, and Erkan Birgören at different times.

At the heart of the story is Nefes, who, at just sixteen, was forced into marriage with Vedat, a wealthy and violent man, and endured years of captivity and abuse. After escaping with her son, Nefes, by chance, hides in the truck of the Kaleli family from the Black Sea region and reaches Trabzon. A chain of events begins when Tahir, who never tolerates injustice, takes these two fugitives under his wing; while struggling against Vedat's threats and the pressure from his community, who consider protecting a woman with a child against tradition, Tahir falls in love with Nefes.

The series, starring İrem Helvacıoğlu, Ulaş Tuna Astepe, Mehmet Ali Nuroğlu, Öykü Gürman, and Sinan Tuzcu, attracted attention with its large cast. It also became the subject of controversy due to its violent scenes.
