Öykü Gürman — Biography
Öykü Gürman was born in 1982 in İstanbul.
She completed her education in the Department of the Turkish Music State Conservatory at İstanbul Technical University.
Having received training in singing and violin, Öykü Gürman performed as a soloist in flamenco ensembles and school orchestras.
Together with her twin brother Berk Gürman, she began to gain recognition and reach large audiences by uploading a video of the song Evlerinin Önü Boyalı Direk to YouTube in 2007.
She released the albums Kısmet in 2007 and İki Arada in 2009.
She had her first acting experience with the series Urfalıyam Ezelden, in which she appeared in 2014; she portrays the character Asiye in the series Sen Anlat Karadeniz, broadcast on Atv, which features important names such as Ulaş Tuna Astepe, İrem Helvacıoğlu, Mehmet Ali Nuroğlu, Sinan Tuzcu, Gözde Kansu and Öykü Gürman.
