İrem Helvacıoğlu — Biography

İrem Helvacıoğlu, born on 2 February 1990 in Germany to a family originally from Ankara, is a Turkish actress. She spent most of her childhood in Germany and, after settling in Türkiye, trained in theatre at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center. She began her acting career in 2010 with the series Behzat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi, then appeared in major productions of the era such as Muhteşem Yüzyıl and Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu before raising her profile further with Güneşin Kızları and No: 309; her portrayal of Nefes in the 2018 ATV series Sen Anlat Karadeniz became the breakthrough that brought her to a wide audience.

In the years that followed she took leading roles in the series Seni Çok Bekledim and Baş Belası, played Zeynep in Kaçış and Defne in the film Annenin Sırrıdır Çocuk, and in 2024 appeared as Zuhal Erdem in the series Karadut.

In her personal life, Helvacıoğlu's marriage ended in 2026; she gave her daughter Sora her own surname and has continued to share glimpses of motherhood with her followers.
