Beyti Engin — Biography

Beyti Engin was born on 18 September 1981 in Çanakkale, completed primary and secondary school in Edirne, and first encountered the stage through Edirne Art Theatre. He moved to Istanbul in 1999, trained for a year at a private acting school, and completed his training at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University's state conservatory in 2005.

He made his screen debut in 2002 with the series Yarım Elma and went on to appear in numerous productions including Şeytan Ayrıntıda Gizlidir, Mahşer, İpsiz Recep, Deli Saraylı, Keşanlı Ali Destanı, Beni Böyle Sev, Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu and Ulan İstanbul. Also a voice actor since 2000, he became best known for playing Sadi Sarıhan in the FOX series No:309, and appeared on film in titles such as Osmanlı Cumhuriyeti, 8 Saniye, Küçük Esnaf and Cep Herkülü: Naim Süleymanoğlu.

Reports said he suffered a heart attack in April 2020; he opened his own acting academy in 2022 and married screenwriter Hale Aksu in 2014.
