Apocalypse: Nabucco's Poison (Mahşer-Nabucco’nun Zehri) (translated)

Mahşer-Nabucco’nun Zehri is a Turkish television series that aired on atv between 2007 and 2008. Remembered as Türkiye’s first real-time TV series, it stood apart from the period’s conventional productions through a narrative approach in which events unfolded in parallel with the viewer’s actual watching time.

The series starred Mahir Günşiray, İpek Tuzcuoğlu, Ahmet Uz, İstemi Betil, Ali Başar, Nesligül Deniz Çaltıl and Şahnaz Çakıralp, with Levent Ülgen also among the cast. It failed to attract the expected audience and ended after only four episodes. Even so, it is remembered as a distinctive example in Turkish television history thanks to its real-time storytelling experiment.
