The Perfect Tenant (Kusursuz Kiracı) (translated)

Kusursuz Kiracı (“The Perfect Tenant”) is a Turkish television series produced by MF Yapım, directed by Yusuf Pirhasan and written by novelist Nermin Yıldırım. Blending drama with comedy and mystery, it premiered on the NOW channel on August 30, 2022 and wrapped up its single six-episode season on October 4, 2022.

The story centres on Mona, a young journalist raised in an orphanage who works for an online newspaper and has been covering a string of house arsons across Istanbul. While reporting on one of the fires she crosses paths with photojournalist Yakup — and returns home the same day to find her landlord has put her belongings out on the street. Left homeless, she reluctantly accepts Yakup's offer to move in as a tenant, only to sense from her very first day in the Yuva Apartment building that something strange is going on there.

Dilan Çiçek Deniz, Serkay Tütüncü and Bennu Yıldırımlar share the leading roles, supported by a cast that includes İncinur Daşdemir, Özlem Tokaslan as Hamiyet and Umut Kurt as Nihat Dinç.
