Dilan Çiçek Deniz — Biography

A native of Sivas, Dilan Çiçek Deniz has built a career in Turkey as both an actress and a model. She trained in theatre for three years during high school and, at fifteen, wrote a poetry collection called Güneşi Annem Sanırdım. She began studying tourism at Ege University but later sat the entrance exams again and switched to comparative literature at Istanbul University. In 2014 she entered the Miss Turkey pageant, took second place and was awarded the Miss Universe Turkey title, then went on to compete for her nation at the Miss Universe final in Miami.

Her screen career opened in 2015 with the role of Ebru in Tatlı Küçük Yalancılar, and that same year she drew notice playing Elif in Güneşin Kızları. She took the lead in Bodrum Masalı, which aired in 2016, the year she also won a rising-star prize at the Golden Butterfly awards. Real fame came through the character Sena Koçovalı, played opposite Aras Bulut İynemli in Çukur. In 2020 she portrayed Elif Urazoğlu in Yarım Kalan Aşklar and Rüya Yıldırımlar in Alev Alev, besides featuring in Yarına Tek Bilet, a film. After the 2022 film Kal, she played Manolya, nicknamed Mona, on Kusursuz Kiracı, then appeared in the 2023 film Aniden. In 2024 she starred opposite Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu in Season of Love, playing Şirin.
