Cihangir Ceyhan — Biography

Cihangir Ceyhan was born on 6 February 1989 in Adana, the youngest child of a family originally from Elazığ on his father's side and Diyarbakır on his mother's; after graduating in business administration from Anadolu University, he spent two and a half years training in on-camera acting in Istanbul before returning to his native Adana.

He began acting in 2015 as Serdar in the film Yusuf, then won a large fan base as Cio in Sıfır Bir, which ran first on YouTube and then on BluTV between 2016 and 2019, before making his mainstream television debut as Azer Kurtuluş in Show TV's Çukur in 2019-2020. He went on to play Ömer Ataycı in Alev Alev (2020-2021), Hayri Ersoy in Camdaki Kız (2021-2023), Ferit Kamacı in Dengeler: Biri Olmak (2024) and the title role in the Netflix series Asaf (2024), then Ali Tuna in TRT1's Bir Zamanlar İstanbul in 2025. He married Fatma Funda Kurt in 2019, and their son İlhan Cihangir was born in 2020; in 2026 he took the lead as Ali, opposite Burcu Özberk, in the NOW series Anne Yarısı.
