Engin Öztürk — Biography

Ahmet Engin Öztürk is a Turkish actor born on September 28, 1986 in Eskişehir. Having played volleyball for many years in his childhood and being interested in music, Öztürk graduated from the Theatre Department of the Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory.

He began his television career in 2010 with the role of Selim Yaşaran in the series Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne?; his real breakthrough came with Şehzade Selim, whom he portrayed in Muhteşem Yüzyıl (2013). After Behzat Ç., Hatırla Gönül (2015) and the role of Kerem in Yüksek Sosyete (2015), he turned to digital platforms: he joined the cast of Netflix's Hakan: Muhafız (2018) and played Gölge in 50m2 (2021), Özgür in Sıfırıncı Gün (2022) and Sadun in Annenin Sırrıdır Çocuk (2022). In 2026 the actor announced that he had taken a break from film sets, and in the same period he became the face of a menswear brand.
