Berrak Tüzünataç — Biography

Born Birsen Berrak Tüzünataç, she moved to Istanbul with her family in 1995 and attended Koç School; while studying business administration at Istanbul University, she interned at CNN Türk. She began her career as a model for Elele magazine before presenting the news on Number One TV, and turned to acting after joining a workshop led by Yılmaz Erdoğan at the Beşiktaş Cultural Centre.

She reached the screen in 2005 with a small part in Organize İşler and a role in the series Ödünç Hayat, then played Vahide in Elveda Rumeli, Bade in Ezel, and Yıldız in Bu Kalp Seni Unutur mu?. Her crime series Son, co-starring Engin Altan Düzyatan, was sold for adaptation to the United States, France, Spain, Russia and the Netherlands, and she went on to appear in Filinta, Galip Derviş and Muhteşem Yüzyıl. On screen she has also featured in Beyza'nın Kadınları, Ejder Kapanı, Kıskanmak, Bir Avuç Deniz and Çanakkale Yolun Sonu.

She played Özge in the 2017 series Fi, then appeared in Dip and Kurşun before writing the story for and co-starring in the 2020 film Biz Böyleyiz; she has since continued with Öteki Ihtimal, Hayalet: 3 Yaşam, Kal and Terzi.
