Three Sisters (Üç Kız Kardeş) (translated)

Üç Kız Kardeş (Three Sisters) is a Turkish drama series adapted from İclal Aydın's novel of the same name. Produced by Süreç Film, directed by Eda Teksöz and written by Nilüfer Özçelik and Sevgi Yılmaz, it debuted on Kanal D on February 22, 2022. After running for three seasons, the show wrapped up with its 84th episode on May 4, 2024.

Set against the pine-scented streets of Ayvalık, the story follows three sisters—Türkan, Dönüş, and Derya—who grow up in a loving family, dreaming each night of a bright future. Yet their sheltered, almost fairy-tale upbringing leaves them unprepared for the harshness of adult life. As the years pass, they come to realize that life and the choices it demands are far from simple. They learn that even the people they trust most can harbor unimaginable secrets and that devastating events can drag the past back to life, forcing the sisters to wonder whether there is anything that time itself cannot heal.
