Berker Güven — Biography

Berker Güven was born on 7 September 1994 in İzmir. He graduated from the Film and Television Department of İstanbul Bilgi University and began acting on the stage.

He made his cinema debut in 2017 as Arif in the film Babam, alongside Çetin Tekindor and Melisa Şenolsun. On television he first drew attention as Aleksi in Vatanım Sensin, and his performance as Nedim in Zalim İstanbul in 2019 greatly raised his profile. That same year he appeared in the film Topal Şükran'ın Maceraları, followed by the series Alev Alev (2020) and Üç Kız Kardeş (2022).

He won the outstanding young actor award at the 22nd Sadri Alışık Theater and Cinema Actors Awards for his performance in the play Yen, and in November 2019 was named best drama actor of the year at the Turkey–Azerbaijan Brotherhood Awards. In 2026 he returned to the stage in the leading role of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Çok Küçük Bir İhtimalin Hikâyesi.
