Emre Törün — Biography

Emre Alp Törün was born on March 11, 1972, in Istanbul and, after training as an actor, made his television debut in 1996 in the series Kara Melek. Over a career spanning nearly thirty years he took on roles in numerous series including Çocuklar Duymasın, Doktorlar, Beşinci Boyut, Zor Adam, Büyük Umutlar, Büyük Buluşma, Umutların Ötesinde, Hayat A.Ş. and Ona Bakma Bana Bak, and appeared on the big screen in the films Keri and İnşaat 2.

Through the 2010s he continued to work steadily in productions such as Bulutların Ötesinde, Güneşi Beklerken and Kod Adı Reaksiyon, alongside voice-acting work. The best-known role of his later career was Nevzat in the long-running ATV series Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz.

Emre Törün died on July 15, 2025, in the Edremit district of Balıkesir at the age of 53, mourned by his wife and many admirers of his work.
