Güzin Usta — Biography

Güzin Usta was born on 8 March 1953 in İzmit and trained as an actress at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center. She made her screen debut in 1995 with the series Çiçek Taksi, and has since appeared in more than seventy films and television series, becoming one of Turkish television's most prolific character actresses.

From the early 2000s onward she played a wide range of characters in series including Dadı, Tatlı Hayta, Ekmek Teknesi, Gülbeyaz, Mühürlü Güller, Alacakaranlık, Hayalet, Zümrüt, Müjgan Bey, Haziran Gecesi, Affet Beni, Yine de Aşığım, Fırtınalı Aşk, Adak and Zeliha'nın Gözleri.

She has also worked in film, appearing in Destere, Kolpaçino and Ayakta Kal. Between 2009 and 2012 she featured in the series Aile Saadeti, Hanımeli Sokağı, Yahşi Cazibe, Babam Sağolsun, Adım Bayram Bayram and Canım Benim, and in 2016 reached a wide audience playing the character Cemile Şahin in the series Kalbimdeki Deniz.
