Holy Water Bottle: Dracoola (Kutsal Damacana: Dracoola) (translated)
Mixing the vampire myth with broad slapstick, the 2011 Turkish horror-comedy Kutsal Damacana: Dracoola was directed by Korhan Bozkurt. It is the second sequel in the Kutsal Damacana series that began in 2007, following Kutsal Damacana 2: İtmen in 2010. It opened in Turkey on January 21, 2011, with Warner Bros as distributor. The film runs about 89 minutes and was produced by İyi Seyirler Film.
The story follows Sebahattin, known as Sebo (Ersin Korkut), who was found as a baby in a mosque courtyard and raised himself on the feed meant for pigeons and doves. Grown up, he finds work in the mansion of a rich businessman and falls into a platonic love with the boss's daughter Demet (Özge Ulusoy). His happiness is broken when someone knocks on the door of the outbuilding at midnight: it is the legendary bloodsucker Count Dracoola (Şahin Irmak).
The cast also includes Sinan Bengier (Tamer), Ceyhun Fersoy (Ertan), Volkan Demirok, Ececan Gümeci and Burhan Türk as Mehmed the Conqueror. The screenplay is by Şenol Zencir and Ahmet Yılmaz, and the music is by Birol Can. Soner Buvan, Ferhan Akgün and Ali Özel share the cinematography credit, and Digiflame Prodüksiyon made the visual effects. The film received low ratings from critics and audiences.
