That Woman (O Kadın) (translated)

O Kadın is a 2007 Turkish romantic drama directed by Korhan Bozkurt. The production drew particular attention for its soundtrack, which is built around eighteen songs by Sezen Aksu that accompany the story's emotional turns.

The plot follows Yeşim and Okan, the central figures of a novel, whose affection for one another stands little chance of surviving. Although they are drawn to each other despite leading very different lives, their relationship collapses almost before it starts, because Yeşim keeps seeing her father in Okan. After his death, attending his funeral forces her to face the memory of an earlier funeral and the figure remembered as "that woman."

Selin Demiratar stars as Yeşim, opposite Tardu Flordun as Okan. The supporting cast features Burak Hakkı, Şebnem Dönmez, Nefise Karatay, Burhan Öçal, Başak Sayan and Erol Günaydın.
