Matter of Respect (Şeref Meselesi)

Şeref Meselesi (Matter of Respect) is a Turkish drama series produced by D Productions and directed by Altan Dönmez. It premiered on Kanal D on November 23, 2014, and concluded with its 26th episode on May 17, 2015. The show is a Turkish adaptation of L'onore e il rispetto, an 18-episode Italian series broadcast between 2006 and 2012.

The story follows the Kılıç family after they move from Ayvalık to Istanbul and are drawn into a scheme by the mafia, which drives the father to suicide. Lead character Yiğit's pursuit of revenge becomes entangled with an impossible relationship with Elif, the woman who initially rejects him. Kerem Bürsin and Şükrü Özyıldız share the leading roles, with Burcu Biricik, Zeynep Elçin, Şükran Ovalı, Tilbe Saran, and Hakan Salınmış also among the cast.
