Burcu Biricik — Biography

Burcu Biricik was born on 4 May 1988 in İzmir. While studying archaeology at Ege University she also trained as an actress with the Bornova Municipality City Theatre, taking small roles on its stage in the process.

She made her screen debut in 2007 with Maçolar, then went on to appear in Muhteşem Yüzyıl, Ustura Kemal, Düşman Kardeşler and Beni Böyle Sev. Her performance in Şeref Meselesi in 2014 drew notice, but it was the role of Hülya in the Kanal D series Hayat Şarkısı that made her a household name. She later took the lead in Kuzgun, made her film debut in Çiçero, and played Nalan İpekoğlu in the long-running series Camdaki Kız. Biricik is married to advertising executive Emre Yetkin.
