The story follows Will Shepard, a solitary young man who travels to Armenia on a mapping survey, verifying rural terrain features against GPS satellite data. Along the way he meets Gadarine Nazarian, a photographer who has returned to her homeland to confront family matters. She decides to accompany him as translator and photographer, and a brief romance develops as they journey through the countryside together. The film won the Jury Special Prize at the 2011 Berlin Film Festival and earned cinematographer Lol Crowley a nomination at the 2012 Independent Spirit Awards.
