Lubna Azabal — Biography
Lubna Azabal was born on August 15, 1973, in Brussels and has Belgian, Moroccan and Spanish roots. After training at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, she became one of the leading names in European cinema.
She drew wide critical acclaim for playing Nawal Marwan in Incendies and has since appeared in international productions such as Coriolanus, Tel Aviv on Fire and The Blue Caftan. Following roles in the 2022 film Rebel and the 2023 films Amal and You Promised Me the Sea, she continued her career with Somewhere in Love in 2024 and the upcoming film Hot Water in 2026.
