Heroes Are Not Wet Behind the Ears (Les héros n'ont pas froid aux oreilles)

Heroes Are Not Wet Behind the Ears (original French title: Les héros n'ont pas froid aux oreilles) is a 1979 French comedy film directed by Charles Nemes. The screenplay was written by Gérard Jugnot, who also appears on screen. Running about 83 minutes, the film features a cast that includes Daniel Auteuil, Josiane Balasko, Gérard Lanvin, Christophe Malavoy, Henri Guybet, Bruno Moynot and Martin Lamotte — performers associated with the Le Splendid theatre troupe — alongside Jacques Legras, Roland Giraud, Anne Jousset and Patricia Karim. Shot in French and produced in France, the picture stands as a characteristic example of the ensemble comedy that emerged from this milieu at the end of the 1970s.
