The Cheat Road (Hile Yolu) (translated)

Hile Yolu is a 2012 Turkish film directed and written by Ersin Kana, blending drama and crime elements. The story unfolds in the aftermath of the assassination of Hrant Dink in Istanbul on January 19, 2007, taking shape around the discovery of gaps in the security camera footage recorded after the murder.

Nearly two years after the assassination, two men named Korhan and Murat prepare a new hit targeting a priest of Turkish origin, drawing Kofik into the scheme. Their plans change when Şeyhmus, a new recruit to the organization, steals a hard drive belonging to their leader Paşa; since the drive contains evidence that could expose their role in the Dink murder, the pair turn their attention to hunting Şeyhmus. The film screened at the Golden Orange Film Festival in Antalya in October 2012 and opened in Turkish cinemas on April 26, 2013.
