Hop

Hop is a 2011 American Easter-themed family comedy that blends live action with computer animation. Directed by Tim Hill and written by Cinco Paul, Ken Daurio and Brian Lynch, it was produced by Illumination and released in US cinemas by Universal Pictures on April 1, 2011; in Turkey it opened on May 13, 2011.

The story follows E.B., a young rabbit who would rather play drums in a band than succeed his father as the Easter Bunny, and who runs off to Hollywood, where he crosses paths with the unemployed slacker Fred O'Hare. The live-action cast features James Marsden, Kaley Cuoco, Gary Cole, Elizabeth Perkins and Chelsea Handler, while Russell Brand, Hugh Laurie and Hank Azaria voice the animated characters.

The film drew mixed reviews but proved a commercial success, grossing roughly 188 million dollars worldwide against a 63 million dollar budget, and it received an Annie Award nomination for character animation in a live-action production.
