A Most Wanted Man (İnsan Avı (film))

A Most Wanted Man is a 2014 espionage thriller adapted from John le Carré's 2008 novel of the same name, directed by Anton Corbijn and written by Andrew Bovell. A co-production between the United Kingdom, Germany, and the United States, it premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and later competed in the main competition of the 36th Moscow International Film Festival and the 40th Deauville American Film Festival.

The story begins when a half-Chechen, half-Russian migrant, bearing the marks of brutal torture, illegally enters Hamburg and finds shelter with a Turkish family in the city's Muslim quarter. As he claims his father's ill-gotten fortune, German and American intelligence services take a close interest, setting off a race to uncover the true identity of this most wanted man. The cast includes Philip Seymour Hoffman, Rachel McAdams, Willem Dafoe, Robin Wright, Grigoriy Dobrygin, Daniel Brühl, and Nina Hoss; it is remembered as Hoffman's final completed and released leading role before his death. The film runs 121 minutes.
