Iron Man 2

Iron Man 2 is a 2010 American superhero film based on the armored Marvel Comics hero. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Paramount Pictures, it follows Iron Man (2008) as the third installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Jon Favreau directed the film from a screenplay by Justin Theroux. This record covers the Turkish-dubbed release of the film, whose Turkish voice cast includes Deniz Çakır.

Picking up six months after the first film, the story finds Tony Stark refusing government demands to hand over his Iron Man technology even as the arc reactor in his chest slowly poisons him. Meanwhile, Russian scientist Ivan Vanko builds weapons of his own from the same technology to avenge his family against the Starks, joining forces with Stark's business rival Justin Hammer. Robert Downey Jr. stars as Tony Stark / Iron Man, alongside Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell, Mickey Rourke, and Samuel L. Jackson.

The film premiered at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on April 26, 2010, and opened in United States cinemas on May 7, 2010. Grossing more than $623.9 million worldwide, it finished as the seventh-highest-earning film of 2010 and picked up an Academy Award nomination for Best Visual Effects. A sequel, Iron Man 3, followed in 2013.
