Isi Ka Naam Zindagi

Isi Ka Naam Zindagi is a 1992 Indian Hindi-language supernatural comedy film directed by Kalidas, with Aamir Khan, Farah, Pran and Shakti Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film is a remake of the National Award-winning 1980 Bengali film Banchharamer Bagaan, which was itself adapted from Manoj Mitra's Bengali play Shajano Bagaan.

Set during the British colonial period, the story follows Bansiram, who carefully tends a plot of land gifted to him by the benevolent village headman and must fight the headman's unscrupulous son, who covets the property after his father's death. Years later, the new heir Devraj finds the aging Bansiram and his grandson Chotu, who wants to produce alcohol on the land, and tries to exploit the situation for his own gain. Although the film failed at the box office, its promotion highlighted Pran's performance as one of the finest of his career.
