Kaamelott: The Second Chapter part 1

Kaamelott: The Second Chapter part 1 is a 2025 French medieval fantasy film that Alexandre Astier wrote, directed, edited, scored and starred in. It carries forward the narrative of the 2021 feature Kaamelott: First Chapter and the television series that preceded it. This chapter was planned as two distinct parts, filmed side by side and released in cinemas a little more than a year apart.

The action begins six months after Lancelot's downfall. Arthur does not feel ready to take back the throne or return to the Grail quest, until a divine warning changes his mind. Discovering that the Round Table has been rebuilt and that his knights, veterans and newcomers alike, have been assembled, the king of Logres resolves to send them on missions throughout the realm. Lancelot, meanwhile, tormented by his father's ghost and spurred by Méléagant, sinks into dark sorcery. Christian Clavier and Daniel Mesguich also appear in the cast.
