La Reine Margot
La Reine Margot is a 1954 French-Italian historical adventure drama directed by Jean Dréville, with a screenplay by Abel Gance adapted from Alexandre Dumas's 1845 novel of the same name. Jeanne Moreau stars alongside Armando Francioli and Françoise Rosay. Produced jointly by the French and Italian branches of Lux Film, the picture was shot at the Epinay Studios in Paris, with sets created by art director Maurice Colasson. Filmed in Eastmancolor, it was also released in some markets under the alternative title A Woman of Evil.
