A Dog, a Mouse, and a Sputnik (original title: À pied, à cheval et en Spoutnik) is a 1958 French black-and-white comedy directed by Jean Dréville and written by Jean-Jacques Vital. Released in some markets under the title Hold That Satellite, this burlesque comedy features Noël-Noël, Darry Cowl, Denise Grey, Francis Blanche and Claude Darget among its cast. Its title evokes the space-race fever of its era, following the Soviet launch of the Sputnik satellite that captured the world's imagination in the late 1950s.
