Harry-Max — Biography

Born Maxime Louis Charles Dichamp on 23 November 1901 in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, Harry-Max became a French film, stage and television actor. Over a career running from 1938 to 1975 he was cast in well over eighty movies. Among his best-remembered roles are parts in Stolen Kisses (1968), directed by François Truffaut and co-starring Delphine Seyrig and Michael Lonsdale, and in Hibernatus (1969); he also appeared in productions such as Parisli Kız (1957). He died in Ivry-sur-Seine on 13 March 1979.
