Maigret Sees Red

Maigret Sees Red (Maigret voit rouge) is a 1963 French-Italian crime film directed by Gilles Grangier, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Jacques Robert. It is adapted from Georges Simenon's 1951 novel Maigret, Lognon and the Gangsters, and marks Jean Gabin's third appearance as Simenon's celebrated fictional detective Jules Maigret.

The film was shot at the Billancourt Studios in Paris as well as on location throughout the city, with sets designed by art director Jacques Colombier. Alongside Gabin, the cast features Françoise Fabian, Michel Constantin, Vittorio Sanipoli and Marcel Bozzuffi. The 87-minute picture was released in 1963.
