Courte tête

Movie · 1956 · 4 people

Courte tête (released in the United States as Photo Finish) is a 1956 French comedy directed by Norbert Carbonnaux. The picture stars Fernand Gravey, Micheline Dax and Jean Richard, with Louis de Funès appearing among a supporting ensemble that also includes Darry Cowl, Jacques Dufilho and Harry-Max. Produced in France and performed in French, the roughly 88-minute feature was shot at the Photosonor Studios in Paris, where art director Jacques Colombier created the sets. In its home country it was also circulated under the alternative title Les Ramasse-miettes. A characteristic example of the popular French screen comedy of the 1950s, it relies on its large cast of seasoned character actors.
