Le plumard en folie

Le plumard en folie is a 1974 French-Quebec comedy directed by Georges Combret and Jacques Lemoine, first released in April 1974. Built as a series of self-contained sketches, the film strings together comic episodes centred on beds and bedrooms, fitting squarely into the cheeky bedroom-farce vein popular at the time; in English-speaking markets it even circulated as Le Lit... Ze Bawdy Bed. The large ensemble is fronted by Alice Sapritch, Michel Galabru and Jacques Préboist, with appearances by such familiar screen names as Jean Lefebvre, Claude Gensac, Henri Tisot, Anna Gaël and Denise Filiatrault across the various segments.
