Schools Falling Apart
Le bahut va craquer (Schools Falling Apart) is a 1981 French comedy film directed by Michel Nerval, starring Michel Galabru, Claude Jade, Darry Cowl and Fanny Bastien.
The story unfolds in a Parisian school, where Beatrice (Fanny Bastien), a young girl who lives alone with her mother (Dany Carrel), discovers she is pregnant. When the headmaster (Michel Galabru) decides to expel her, the other students band together and sequester him along with the math tutor (Darry Cowl) and the philosophy teacher (Claude Jade). The principal and the two teachers become the students' hostages, paying the price for their misunderstanding. The French-language film runs about 85 minutes.
