Lost Command

Lost Command (also known as Les Centurions) is a 1966 French-American war drama film directed and produced by Mark Robson, with a screenplay by Nelson Gidding. The film is based on Jean Lartéguy's best-selling 1960 novel The Centurions, adapted freely for the screen and produced by Columbia Pictures.

The film stars Anthony Quinn, Alain Delon, George Segal, Michèle Morgan, Maurice Ronet and Claudia Cardinale. Its story follows French paratroopers who fight first against Viet Minh guerrillas in French Indochina during the 1950s, and later against the resistance movement in Algeria during that country's war of independence. Shot in English with a runtime of 129 minutes, it stands among the notable war films of its era.
