Angels and Demons (Melekler ve Şeytanlar) (translated)
This page covers the Turkish-dubbed version of Angels & Demons (Turkish title: Melekler ve Şeytanlar), released in Turkish cinemas on 15 May 2009. Directed by Ron Howard, the 2009 American–Italian mystery thriller adapts Dan Brown's novel of the same name, with a screenplay by David Koepp and Akiva Goldsman and production by Columbia Pictures and Imagine Entertainment; it runs about 146 minutes.
Tom Hanks returns as Robert Langdon, who uncovers evidence that the ancient secret brotherhood known as the Illuminati has resurfaced with a deadly plot against the Catholic Church. Racing to Rome, he joins CERN scientist Vittoria Vetra, played by Ayelet Zurer, to follow a 400-year-old trail of symbols that holds the Vatican's only hope of survival. Ewan McGregor and Stellan Skarsgård co-star, and Hans Zimmer composed the score.
Bahtiyar Engin was part of the film's Turkish voice cast; in the same dub, Sungun Babacan voiced Tom Hanks and Ayça Bingöl voiced Ayelet Zurer. The film grossed over 485 million dollars worldwide to mixed reviews, was re-released in Turkish cinemas on 27 June 2025, and was followed by the series' concluding installment, Inferno, in 2016.
