No Graves on Boot Hill

No Graves on Boot Hill, originally titled Tre croci per non morire, is a 1968 Italian Spaghetti Western. Sergio Garrone co-produced, co-wrote and directed the picture, working under his habitual pseudonym Willy S. Regan. It circulated internationally under several alternate titles, among them Three Crosses Not to Die and Three Crosses of Death. The cast is headed by Giovanni Cianfriglia and Ida Galli, with supporting turns from performers such as Pietro Tordi, Mariangela Giordano, Jean Louis and Craig Hill. Running roughly 98 minutes and shot in Italian, the film belongs to the wave of low-budget westerns Italy turned out in the late 1960s. Curiously, although a German title appears in film reference works, there is no documented evidence that the picture ever received a theatrical release in German-speaking territories. It remains one of the more obscure entries in Garrone's filmography of genre pictures.
