North Rainbow

North Rainbow (Armenian: Հյուսիսային ծիածան, "Northern Rainbow") is a black-and-white 1960 Soviet Armenian film produced by the Armenfilm studio. It was directed by Artashes Hay-Artyan and adapted from a novella of the same name by writer Hrachya Kochar.

Classified as a historical-biographical drama, the roughly 87-minute film follows events surrounding Armenia's union with Russia and touches on the involvement of the Russian writer-diplomat Alexander Griboyedov in that period. The cast includes veteran Armenian stage actor Hıraçya Nersesyan alongside Çolak Amerikyan.
