Notte prima degli esami

Notte prima degli esami is a 2006 Italian teen comedy written and directed by Fausto Brizzi. Set in Rome in 1989, it follows two groups of high school students in the hectic days leading up to the esame di maturità, the final exam of the Italian school system. Between last-minute studying, friendships, rivalries and first loves, the film captures the anxieties and excitement of a generation on the threshold of adulthood. The title borrows from a well-known 1980s song by Antonello Venditti. Nicolas Vaporidis and Cristiana Capotondi lead the young cast, with Giorgio Faletti also appearing. The film won several David di Donatello awards, including best film, best new director and best script, and became one of the defining Italian youth comedies of its decade.
